Considering the design of your logo

A logo is a graphic or small design that helps identify your brand and company. Certain companies have built up their brand a such a huge scale that their logo is known worldwide and the logo is often enough to market their company on adverts etc as they are so well known.

When it comes to choosing a logo for your business there are a few points that you need to consider.

  1. What is your company ethos and what message do you want to get across. For instance, if you are advertising eco-friendly products you may want to look at using very earthy colours and keep it simple.
  2. How will the logo look on different types of media / stationery etc. Your logo will most likely be used on a website / social media sites, stationery and signage. You need to consider how your logo will look on all these types of advertising as it may require it to be on different coloured backgrounds etc.
