Infographics are a specialist type of graphic whereby you break down difficult details or large sections of text into smaller parts, and put illustrations with them to show your point more clearly. If you have complex subject matter, want a visual way of representing this and have an artistic tendency (or a designer!), then this could be a great route to go down.

The first step is conceptualising. Choose the text that will go with your infographic and break it down into mall portions, each of which can then be illustrated. It is then up to the designer or whoever is doing the artwork to come up with images that represent this text. The finished result should be informative and highly visual, showing a process or a series of information in a clear, easy to understand way. Make sure the text and the images complement each other perfectly to take you through a complete journey.
