Could you be a graphic designer?
The job of a graphic designer can vary depending on what industry you work in. If you are in the website industry then you may be expected to design websites as well as online adverts and even some promotion offline material. If you are looking to go in to graphic design for a print company then you are more likely to just concentrate on designing business cards, logos and adverts for example.
The basics of design can be applied to most industries so it is handy to know about both if you want to give yourself the best opportunities in your career. You do not have to have a qualification in designer to become a graphic designer as many employers look more at the work you can do rather than what qualifications you have, but it can help.
You can also become a self-employed graphic designer as some companies prefer to outsource this type of work or only employ someone on a part time basis.
