Helping a Client Choose a New Logo
Choosing a new logo is a huge decision and something that can transform a business’ reputation, image and future marketing efforts. Designing a logo for a client will help them in many ways but it can be hard to go in blind. How do you know what your client wants, what they will like and what they will ultimately decide on?
A good starting point is to ask your client to send you logos that they like. You don’t have to copy them like for like, but it will give you an idea of shapes, colours and styles that they like. You should also spend time talking to them about their business and how they want to portray it – if the business should be techy and modern, for example, this already gives you an idea of shapes and fonts you might use. You can then produce concepts to help your client decide.
