The importance of quality graphics and images
There is nothing worse than a website or indeed a printed brochure / leaflet that has pixelated graphics on it. There really is not excuse to use poor quality images and often, if they are used it has a negative effect on your business. It can make your company look unprofessional and amateur and give the wrong impression.
The issue arises when people start to enlarge images too much or stretch them without ticking to constrain the proportions. This normally happens when someone tries to edit images or graphics without using a design company, pushing them beyond their capabilities.
If you are having a photographer take images for a banner or leaflet / website then make sure you tell them the maximum size that you will need the graphics so they can send you them in the correct format. Before having any document sent to print, double check the proof that the printers send you to check for typos and quality issues.
